Cozy Corner

A simple, cozy corner inpspired by Dwell Aware!

I came across a super cute painting project from Amanda at Dwell Aware and thought it’d be perfect by my little stack of firewood.

It is SO EASY and can be done with a small amount of paint… great project for those jars with just a little bit left.

Use a ruler and a level to draw two straight lines on either side of a corner in the room.

Grab a pencil and tie a string tightly to the end of it - essentially making a compass. Make sure your string is as long as you want your arc to be! Looking at the left line, decide where you want your arc height to be and place your pencil there.

Keeping your pencil level to the floor, bring it to the left all the way down to the floor, creating part of your arc. Bring it back up and now do the same thing to the right, completing your semi-circle.

Tape off your baseboards and straight line. Paint in your sections and you’re done! :)
